The Service

Font Finder is a free tool that analyzes images you upload and returns a ranked list of visually similar fonts, using AI-based letterform matching. The Service is provided free of charge, with no account required.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service — including attempting to disrupt it, scraping it at scale, reverse-engineering its detection logic, or uploading images that are illegal, infringing, or that you don't have the right to use.

Font matches are not licenses

Font Finder identifies fonts; it does not grant, sell, or transfer any license to use them. Every font shown belongs to its own foundry or designer and is subject to that party's license terms. Before using any matched font — free or paid — in a project, confirm the license directly with the foundry or platform linked from the result.

Accuracy disclaimer

Font matches are AI-generated best guesses based on visual similarity, not guaranteed identifications. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Always verify a match before relying on it for commercial or legal purposes.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Font Finder and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including reliance on an inaccurate font match.

Third-party links

The Service links to third-party sites, such as Google Fonts and foundry storefronts, to help you obtain a matched font. We don't control and aren't responsible for the content, licensing terms, or practices of those sites.

Changes to the Service or these Terms

We may modify or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may also revise these Terms from time to time; continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
